How to avoid a fee for a non-standard shipment
Non-standard shipments always incur an additional fee. Each carrier has different guidelines for shipments. Before sending a package, check how to pack and measure it. In order to avoid additional costs, it is necessary to accurately estimate the dimensions and weight so that our package is not classified as a non-standard shipment.

What is a non-standard shipment?
A non-standard shipment is one that cannot be automatically sorted. There is no clear definition of a non-standard shipment, as each carrier defines its own conditions and sets different guidelines for non-standard shipments. Before sending a package, you should check whether it falls within the guidelines of the carrier you want to use. Check what to pay attention to when ordering a shipment to avoid paying additional fees.
Non-standard shipment – how to avoid the fee
Here are instructions on how to avoid paying an additional fee for a non-standard shipment:
– First, pack your shipment. Use solidly made cardboard boxes, which are additionally taped. Pay attention to the design of your shipment. A rectangle or square is considered a standard shape. In the case of irregular shapes, for example, cylindrical shapes such as tubes, parcels made up of several parts connected to each other, or parcels with protruding elements – all this will already be counted as a non-standard shipment.
– The next step is to accurately measure and weigh your shipment.
– Open globkurier.pl and enter your shipment details – including weight, dimensions and quantity.
– The search engine will automatically show you quotes from various carriers taking into account the parameters of your shipment.
Before shipping, check what restrictions the carrier you have chosen has. Below is the necessary information on custom shipments of selected carriers.
